Point of View

The point of view of the Hunger Games is first person point of view. This effects the story because you see the games and all of the action and thoughts of Katniss. You don't get to know what the other tributes are thinking especially Peeta. You don't get to know what he is thinking when he and Katniss meet up or when he finds out that she was only pretending to be in love with him for the audience. Haymitch would also be an interesting character so that you could imagine the Games from the outside view, or like Gale who is watching intently watching the t.v. to see if Katniss lives, thinking about his feelings for her and his reaction to all of the love scenes between Peeta and Katniss.
