Main Conflict with Resolution

The main conflict in this book is the Games. Katniss has to win the Games to come back and provide for Prim. The first day half of the tributes die which means Katniss is that much closer to home. Then there is another death, and another. Katniss gets closer and closer to Prim. Then when Rue dies, Katniss' ally, Katniss also promises Rue that she will win for her. So now Katniss more motivation to win, now she doesn't just have the thought of Prim to keep her going, but also little Rue. The resolution is Peeta and Katniss work together to kill Cato, then get out of the arena together. Katniss has overcome the Games.
